Quality Manager and Health & Safety Lead in Blood Sciences
An opportunity has arisen in one of Viapath’s largest laboratories within Central London
The role is to oversee Quality and Health & Safety in laboratories at both the Guy’s Hospital and St. Thomas’ Hospital sites. As an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with experience in Quality Management you will have the opportunity to help maintain ISO 15189 accreditation in our Core Chemistry and Haematology Laboratories as well as in our Specialist Haematology section, and peripheral clinics & services. You will also work closely with our Point of Care Team to provide governance of that service in collaboration with the Trust.
You will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Operations Leads and will benefit from a network of Quality Managers within Viapath.
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals are two of the oldest and most prestigious teaching hospitals in the UK, located in zone one of Central London, with excellent transport links. You will be close to the vibrant Borough Market and the South Bank, which are exceptional London locations throughout the seasons; perfect places to work and relax next to such iconic venues as Big Ben, The London Eye and The Shard!
