Working in partnership with our service partners, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital, Bedford NHS Hospital Trusts, and Princess Royal University Hospital we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.
Want to be at the fore front of enabling growth within Viapath?
A large amount of job satisfaction is gained from managing a deal from the early stages right though to implementation. If you are interested in utilising your knowledge of Pathology testing and the requirements for specimens handling to fulfil this key role (ensuring Viapath realises its growth objectives whilst supporting the laboratories and departments that make it a reality) then we would love to hear from you.
This role will be an ideal next step if you have a background in lab administration and are looking to transition into a more corporate/operations-based role. You will have a passion for driving change and enabling effective communications and liaisons between our laboratories and our central services teams. You will also be comfortable collaborating with different departments, as well as senior staff members.
We will build on your existing skills and knowledge to ensure you are confident in completing incident investigation, mapping tests, creating transition plans, setting up new courier routes, implementing external IT connections and creating bespoke service wrappers e.g. request cards, user guides and sample kits.
On a day to day basis: you will work closely with Viapath Business Development managers to match the customers test list against what Viapath can offer; confirming resource and capacity with Senior Operational Management and supporting the laboratories to hire new staff or acquiring equipment as required; take part in face to face customer visits; and work closely with Viapath’s Customer Service department on early contract teething issues, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and effectively, applying lessons learnt across Viapath and improving the quality of the service for all customers.
